Well for my book I read the Uglies. I thought that it was really good. Action, drama, romance. It was totally amazing. It is about this girl named Tally Youngblood. In her world, you are born ugly and when you come of age (sixteen) you get this operation/surgery that erases every unpretty thing about you. Tally's best friend Paris is three months older than her so he gets the operation first. When he leaves it leaves poor Tally alone for three long months. A month before she is going to be "pertty" she meets Shay. She has the same birthday as Tally so they will get the operation at the same time. Or will they. Shay runs away to the smoke and Tally stays for the operation. The morning of her sixteenth birthday tally goes to the hospital. She wait hours untill a lady comes and tells her she can't be pretty unless she brings her friend Shay back home
